Some things just get better with age, I definitely think that Jared is one of them.
This year we celebrated his 40th birthday. We had a night out with friends, playing Laser Tag followed by dessert at Jared's favorite - Cold Stone, and a family dinner filled with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and every other chocolate and peanut combination you could think of!
We had his favorite for dinner, Parker Tacos, and tried a new dessert....Chocolate cake, peanut butter cream frosting sprinkled with Reese's Peanut butter cups. He was in heaven!
Dave & crew and Kim & crew joined us for the festivities.
We made a list of our 40 favorite things we love about Jared.
I was happy to say that the kids came up with most of them on their own, and
Kevin put the best one on..."He's a cool guy." And then we played a little game of pictionary with all the words relating to things about Jared. We had a little bit of an unfair advantage, but hey, that's what you get when you're the host!
This man may be technically "Over the Hill" but I think the best is yet to come.
