In between all the traveling, the homework, and every day life, I didn't want to miss some of the small things that we have been able to do.

Like Cole earning his Webelos patch.  Only 6  months in and he's already earned his Webelos award.  When this boy puts his mind to work, he can achieve anything.

For all of his years in cub scouts, I have been able to be there every step of the way in some shape and form.  I'm not his Den Leader but I do get to be there as the committee chair

and I am so proud of this boy and the things he gets to do!  Can't wait for scouts!

The second thing I wanted to be sure I didn't skip over was the Phoenix Temple Open House and dedication.  Kate missed the Gilbert Dedication by a month and a half but got to be part of the Phoenix one!  One night after school we took off and headed north, about an hour, and headed to the Phoenix Temple to show the kids another one of The Lord's houses here on Earth.  It is a smaller temple, but still just as beautiful.  I was impressed by the dark wood, Kate loved the "rocket ship" chandeliers in the Celestial Room, and Lizzie loved the feelings she felt there. 

I am so grateful that I KNOW my family can be together forever and lucky to live so close to a temple where I am reminded of the love Heavenly Father has for us.
