Lucky Mommys

Every now and then, we sisters and my mom get to be together on a weekend and fortunately, because Trigg and Kate got baptized on Mother's Day weekend, this was the lucky weekend we spent together!  And this is how we spent it....
We were serenaded by the girls again with a Happy Mother's Day song - they are getting REALLY good with their performances.  I think they're going to take it on the road!
There was shopping - of course!  We hit Down East Outfitters - Grandpa was awesome and helped keep them entertained while we shopped.  We found some perfect chairs for their little bums to sit in.
And some couches they could try out...
and pretend they were asleep.  They HAD to make sure they were sleep worthy.
And Mother's Day card making with our handprints for our mommy's and grandma.
"Best Mom, Hands Down!"
And on Saturday morning, the hubbys were so kind to watch all the kids while the ladies had breakfast out at the Olive Mill - treated by their Dad.  Thanks for breakfast, Dad!  You always know how to spoil your girls!

You know, growing up, I thought I was a pretty lucky girl, knowing that I had 4 sisters and a great mom I could count on.  Now I KNOW that I am a lucky girl who has sisters and a mom I can count on through thick and thin and who I love and respect more and more with the passing years.  Happy Mother's Day to the ladies I know and love the most!
