I think we may have a soccer player in the family after all!
This girl begged and begged me for months to play soccer, so we found a team, bought the equipment and she was off! She played on a team coached by a friend of ours in the ward and got to play with some girls in our ward. She had to play on an older team, but that didn't seem to slow her down!
Her coach quickly realized that Lizzie plays well in the defense role instead of the aggressive forward and used that to their benefit. It was fun to see Lizzie grow and get better with every passing game.
So proud of you Lizzie!
