I consider myself VERY lucky to be born into my family and to have parents that have taught us the value of having family who is always there for each other.
Well, this week, I was lucky enough to have an extra person at our house, while Sarah and Austin took a much needed vacation to Mexico for their 11th anniversary. Yeah!
So Sarah split the boys between Kim and I and we ended up with a week full of fun!
Luke wasn't sure what to do with a little brother who continued to bug him and who was old enough to tell him his opinion, but after a few days, we worked out the bugs and they got along just fine!
In fact, at the end of the week, when Luke left us, Max woke up and said, "Mom, where's my brother, Luke?' We truly miss this kid!
Our week was full of jumping on the trampoline, driving the tractor outside - our weather was perfect! Playing Wii....
Doing homework together....
Swimming and playing outside...
And of course, a lunch date to Chick-Fil-A.
Crazy thing....Luke found a new love for chocolate milk this week. I think, between all my kids and Luke, I went through 2-3 gallons of chocolate milk in a week!
These two are the best little buddies and we couldn't have had an easier week with this little one around! I would take him any day of the week and twice on Tuesdays!
And what was even better....Lizzie was chosen as Student of the Month!
We are so proud of this girl and what a gem she is to have around.
This girl can make the sun shine bright on the darkest of days, and she is a true joy to be around!
Love you and so proud of you, Lizzie Lou!
