You know those pictures that you randomly take on your phone because you see your kids do something cute, but there is no category for them....these are mine this month.
Lizzie and Max riding the car at Toys R Us and I actually put a quarter in this time and they thought they were in heaven when it moved! Funny kids!
We love taking bike rides, especially on Sunday afternoons together. One day, we had picked oranges off our tree and washed them and packed them into bags to deliver to my visiting teaching sisters. Max was such a trooper in holding all the orange bags in the trailer with him, but I guess he got a little tired after and hour and a half of riding around the neighborhood. The kids did great on their bikes and rollerblades. It was close to a 2 mile loop, plus a few stops at the parks on the way!
And of course, who isn't so cute when they fall asleep in the car constantly on our way to pick up kids from school! Despite the fact that he is trying to give up naps, the car always seems to do the trick for him! Love this kid!
And he doesn't hesitate to bring a friend along to sleepytown with him!
The kids always have field trips and sometimes we get to go. But Lizzie was so excited to go with her Kindergarten class, she was insistent that she wear her cowboy boots since she was going to a farm! How cute is this little girl!
We also had our Blue and Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts, Cole's last one as a Cub, where Cole earned his Arrow of Light. I am so proud of this kid and how he is growing up to be such a wonderful young man. When he puts his mind to something, he accomplishes it on his own! I have been lucky to be by his side all through cubs and it's a little scary sending him to scouts on his own! But I know he is so excited! Way to go Cole!
There were also morning hikes the two littles and I would take with some ladies in the ward after we sent the other two to school. Kate and Cole wished they could come, and me too, but I will just enjoy these two while I have them! And the cool Arizona winter mornings before the heat!
This kid is just cute....
And our reward late night and cookout in the backyard. The kids had worked hard all week with their "Temple Talk and Trash Talk" and all they wanted to do is cook dinner outside, with Smoritoes, and stay up late watching a movie. Love my homebodies and love that this is what they wanted for their reward! I love my little family!
