On the Hunt

The Sunday we returned from our cruise was Easter Sunday.  Thanks to Sarah, she made our Easter and Conference Sunday for the kids a blast!  She hid the baskets around the house and made the kids hunt for them.

Then treated them to an amazing breakfast of White Chocolate Raspberry Muffins and eggs

And did Conference Bingo, games and had them listen to Conference in the morning.  They loved listening to conference and everytime they heard certain words, they got to eat the corresponding treat out of the bucket.  They did great!
Then it was off to Kim's house for the afternoon session of General Conference, a delicious Easter dinner with Dave's family too!
And the Easter Egg Hunt!  Our flight was delayed so we made it just in time for the fun Egg hunt.  Max had a good time finding his eggs and loved eating what was inside them even more!

Since Cole is not eating candy or soda for the year, his eggs were filled with coins...I think he made out pretty well this year!  He was sad to think that this may be his last year of hunting for the eggs.  He may just be our hider next year!
This Easter, my heart was filled with gratitude not only for my wonderful family that I am constantly surrounded by, but also for the Savior and his sacrifice he made for all of us so that we could be together as a family, forever.   There truly is no greater gift.   Happy Easter everyone!
