I LOVE spring break! The kids get a nice week, beautiful weather, and lots of fun things to do without any kind of schedule! This year we kicked off Spring Break with a stop at Sonic with the Grays after school.....nothing like a sweet treat to start your week!

We had lots of play time with our friends in the neighborhood, Cole especially like playing street hockey, morning, noon, and night, while the girls and Max ran a muck around them back and forth between houses with the kids. I love this neighborhood!
Then there were relaxing Sunday naps, which are always a must with Daddy!
Brownie and treat making - I always need a taste tester....
And we were lucky enough to have our Grandma Parker come for a visit! Our original plan was to make a trip to Utah and visit her, but she's been feeling so well on her new medication for her cancer that she ventured south to better weather to see us! Even on her birthday! So of course, we had to celebrate with her, with her favorite dessert....German Chocolate Cake!
She was so cute, one of her guilty pleasures is to eat this for breakfast. But she didn't want the kids to see so she would slice a piece when they weren't looking and eat it in her bedroom! Funny Grandma!

The week was filled with park time, feeding the ducks, going to the Temple with this pretty lady, and they even taught her how to play Mario Kart Wii. She's such a hip Grandma!
One evening we took her to see some local performers, The Dutton Family, in Mesa. They sing, dance, and play almost all the string instruments. So entertaining and the kids loved it! We even indulged in some amazing fudge they make!
And Cole was sweet enough to buy his sisters some pretty "Blutterfly," as Lizzie calls them, rings, and Max a cool bookmard. They were super appreciative! What a good big brother.
But best of all, they always had someone to do puzzles and games with. One of my favorite past times with my Grandmas. There is just something about playing games with Grandmas.
We all cried when she had to leave and fly home, but we were so grateful that we had an amazing Spring Break with our Grandma Parker! Love this little lady!
