December Happenings

Every year our children look forward to the Christmas Countdown and for our Elf, Gus-Gus, to come for a visit for the month of December.  Through the years we have started to establish some of our favorite things to do around the holidays.  Our list this year included: School Christmas concert, reading our favorite Christmas stories, listening to Christmas music in the car, our ward Christmas party/dinner, the 1st Presidency Devotional, Tempe Boat Parade, Cole's Wax museum for school, Mesa Temple Lights, and a trip to the Polar Express in Williams (pictures in another post).
Yes, I think this year we packed that all in to a few weeks, but it sure made the Christmas season a success and we loved spending time with our family...every minute of it!

Paige and Max at the Boat Parade
Max just loves Paige and having her around when he goes to Kim's house

It just wouldn't be the same without a smashed face picture with your sister!

It was fun to listen to the Christmas concert and sad to think our big 6th grader wasn't part of it this year!  He got to sit in the audience with us!
Nate was chosen to play the bells and rocked it!
These two little girls just melt my heart.
Family Fun Night at the school is always a big hit with the kids.  They love going in their jammies, drinking hot chocolate, eating popcorn and watching a movie.
Lucky for us, Brooke and Aaron moved here just before this and came with us too!
It's never a dull moment around here!
