Every now and then, Jared is able, through his awesome job, to pick up tickets to some of the fun things that go on in Arizona. Intel was offering free Suns tickets to the some of the first responders to an email, which included a "shoot-out" on the floor after the game. And, Jared, being a fan of basketball, quickly responded and got tickets for Cole and himself, and a pair of tickets for my nephew, Nathan, and brother-in-law, Jeff. It was a late school night, but the boys wouldn't have traded it for anything! They jumped on the light rail and headed into Phoenix for dinner and a game. They had a blast!
First, they got to watch the players warm up, COURT SIDE!
The boys could see the sweat dripping from their foreheads they were so close!
And then actually got pretty decent seats to watch the game and cheer on the Suns! We were so glad that Jeff and Nathan were able to come and have a "man night" out on the town!
Then afterwards, the crowds cleared and the shooting match begun!

I am SURE they could have played well into the night, but the court was cleared, the doors were locked and they jumped on the train and headed home.
Even after they got home, Cole could not stop talking about how much fun he had! I am so glad that these two boys have the same interests and they enjoy each other's company! There's just nothing like a night out with your dad!
