And just like that, summer has come and gone in a short 7 weeks. This year we switched to year round school so we will be enjoying longer breaks throughout the year instead. It'll be a bit of adjustment and summer seemed to be short, I was actually wishing for just one more week with them, but alas, the time came and they were happy to be going back!
Kate is in 4th grade with Mrs. Rodriguez
Lizzie was happy to get Mrs. Casey for 1st grade - just like Cole!
And Cole got Mrs. Marley for his 6th Grade at Ben Franklin - I was surprised he wasn't in a class with any close friends or the twins this year! There's always room to make new friends, though!
And Mr. Max...we toyed with putting him in Preschool. I wasn't sure he was quite ready for it, but after two weeks at home without his siblings, he was dying for interaction with someone other than his mama. He was more than excited to be like the big kids and go to school!

I love these four little cuties! Sad to think that this will be the last year the three of them will be at the same campus together!
After a yummy pancake breakfast and them suffering through pictures, they were off to school in the 115 degree weather to join friends on the playground.
Lizzie was so excited to line up in the morning with the other kids. Last year in Kindergarten, she was in the afternoon so this was her first official flag ceremony! What a cutie!
With a new principal this year, he was kind enough to use the gym when it is blistering hot outside to do flag ceremony. The kids were super appreciative.
And it gave me a chance to get more pictures!
Ryann and Kate
I teared up a little knowing that these three have been going to school together and I've gotten to be part of that for most of their lives. I love these twins like my own and it's like Cole has twin sisters!
Haley and Megan
And I couldn't pass up on getting a picture of this cute face, too! Love ya, Nate!
And after a quick welcome back from Mr. Solberg, they were off! Lizzie didn't think twice about looking back as she waved good-bye. I will miss my little Lizzie-Lou. It's always hard for me to send them to school all day long. I miss the little noises they make, the singing of made up songs from Liz, and the companionship. I now know why my mom had 8 kids!
Even though we have our ups and our downs, I am ever grateful I was sent these 4 little angels to bless my life. I am so happy that these little stinkers are mine, for time and all eternity.
I love my little Parker People!
