Happy Spring Days

We live in a beautiful state where we enjoy such wonderful weather this time of year.  And boy are my children loving it.  There aren't enough parks to visit or enough time to spend at them.  And if Kate had her way, I think we would live at one.  During the spring break we were able to visit Desert Mountain Park in Tempe with Kim and her children and boy did they have fun.  Despite the little warmer than normal temperatures, Cole, Kate and Lizzie enjoyed being outside, riding the train and little rides, and especially enjoyed their slurpees!  What more can a child ask for?

Cole found some money in my wallet, unbeknownst to me and decided to go for a ride...
Kate loves her slurpees and lovingly calls them the "Target drink"-as she thinks she needs one every time we go to Target.
Kate wanted a pink horse and refused to ride the train because she wanted a pink horse; however, she caved to peer pressure and sat on the bench instead.
Loving the train ride

This past week, our ward did a primary activity at the temple and asked the children to come dressed in their Sunday best to learn a little more about the temple.  They enjoyed walking around the temple grounds, seeing the reflection pond and the Christus, and of course, running with the other children.  But most importantly they learned we are an eternal family! (Kate really is happy about it despite the look on her face in the picture.)

I love the look on Kate's face. Thanks for subjecting yourself to our new park whims - we love it when you come with us!

Hey Wendy,
I was just surfing some blogs and found your folk's blog and then found your family's blog. Congrats on the new baby, she is very pretty. We have a 9 month old little girl so I know what you're going through, lots of fun and little sleep. It was fun seeing how you're doing, also I liked the picture on your folk's blog of everyone at Disneyland. Good times!
