Reliving the past

It seems that every year at the beginning of the year, I have hopes to keep up on the latest and greatest moments of our family for the year.  I can't believe another year has flown by and I have YET to keep on top of it.  With that said...this truly is for my purposes of journal keeping, I am going to attempt AGAIN to start another year fresh by catching up on the last one.  You have been warned!

Lizzie's Kindergarten Graduation

Oh how we loved Ms. McKinney and an amazing Kindergarten year!  Lizzie just loved this teacher and how kind she was and how loving she was.  Firm but very loving.  Lizzie loved everything about her Kindergarten year and loved coming to school in the afternoons to finish off her day.
The thing I loved about half day kindergarten is that Lizzie just loves to play and pretend play.  She would keep herself entertained for hours on her own.  She loved to set up shops, play with animals, doll houses, and any other toy she could pull off the shelf.
She is such an entertaining little girl with her funny sayings, he cute little laughter and how she always likes to be on the go and do the right thing.  I will miss my little Lizzie-lou when she goes to 1st grade next year.  I know children half to grow up, but sometimes I really do they would stay as sweet as they are when they're this little.
She loved to perform on stage, and didn't even wave to me from the risers because she had her "stage face" on.  What a little cutie!
She was awarded the "Singer of the Year" award from her music teacher because she was always ready to smile and did her best at every song, giving 110%.
She made lots of good friends in Kinder and loved her playdates with each and every one of them, especially Tynlee.  Lizzie is such a good friend to all of them.

And we were even lucky enough to have our Aunt Kim come and see her graduate too!  It wouldn't be the same without her!

And we pulled her cousins and siblings out of class to watch her in her graduation.  She is so loved!
I just love my little Lizzie - she truly is my little friend.
And to top off the morning...it was Chick-Fil-A for lunch with Daddy.  I will miss my lunch dates with this little monkey!

Kate's last day
Then just one day later, we had the last day of school.  Cole, being too cool for pictures took off to play basketball on the courts with the boys, but Kate is always ready for a picture!

This sweet girl made some good friends this year - Hailey, Sailor, and Grace.  They had their problems, no doubt, but they all seemed to work it out and stay friends.

Kate is quite the girly girl and doesn't like to get dirty on the playground but enjoyed playing tag on the field this year or just hanging with her girls.
Anything artsy, Kate was all over that and any time she could play with friends, she did what she had to to get it done.

Mrs. Prater was her teacher this year and she had such patience with Kate when she didn't understand something, she would take extra time before and after class to help Kate out.
We thought Kate would struggle after the transition from New York to Ben Franklin but she is still going strong!  When she puts her mind to something, Kate can accomplish anything!
I just love my little Katie-Boo!
And just like that, another year passed and the summer has come!
