In case you were wondering how we spend some of our time here in New York while the weather is warm.....here are a few fun things we've done this past month between our trips (more posts to come)....
Getting our car washed at the car wash - Lizzie loves to sit in the little gazebo there and watch them dry our car after watching the car go through the car wash.
Taking morning walks on the bike path when it's not too humid or raining...
of course, we have to stop and pick the flowers.....
going to the duck pond and feeding the ducks and having a piece of it ourselves!
Making fruit pizzas and other fun desserts for Sunday nights!
And riding our bikes with our friends and neighbors! I was pretty excited this week as Max has finally figured out that he doesn't just get to push the car around from the back and into the street, but that he can open the door and push himself backwards. He is so funny! This was his face for about the 15 minutes he spent pushing himself backwards before he got stuck in the grass. He loves being outside and cries every time I have to bring him in!
Most Tuesday nights and one Thursday a month, it's off to scouts and the girls love it when they get to come! One night, our pack meeting was all about aviation and airplanes! The kids got to make paper airplanes and threw the all over the gym....they were in heaven!
Cole has been working on his Bear Badge and even earned his Religious Knot Award this month! We are so proud of you Cole! Wahoo!
Another pack meeting, it was all about physical fitness and keeping our bodies healthy and active, and we got to play a backyard game where we designed and raced cardboard boxes. Kate was quite the designer and Cole was quite the driver!
And just in case you didn't put the two together, we added a little Disney twist to our car!
And of course, there are end of the year events....Field days
