It's hard to believe that another school year has come and gone and my babies are growing up faster than I want them too. As this school year ended, it has been a crazy one, and a fun one with lots of ceremonies, celebrations, and achievements.
Kate had a great year in Kindergarten and LOVED her teacher, Mrs. Meagher. Mrs. Meagher loved having our social bug in her class and was glad that Kate was in the center during Kindergarten graduation because she was such a great performer and singer (thanks to Primary)! We will definitely miss her next year but is looking forward to 1st grade. She just hopes her friends are in the same class with her. She made some pretty good friends this year and couldn't get enough pictures with them at her Kindergarten graduation.
Kasia, Brooke, Kate and Vera - the 4 Musketeers.....or little socialites as Mrs. Meagher calls them.

Riya, Aria, and Kate
These 3 funny girls were inseparable....
And now it's on to some summer fun....for the cub scouts, we took them on a tour of a local fire station. The fire stations around here are all volunteer and this fire fighter was kind enough to come and spend the evening with the boys. He let them try holding the air tank, the face mask, the heat detector gun, and climb in the truck. He did a great job and the boys loved it!

And this year for Father's Day, we were lucky to have a beautiful Sunday morning to celebrate him and fix him all his favorite foods. The morning started off to a startling good morning from our smoke alarm as the oven billowed smoke into our house while cooking our breakfast casserole....a dad's job is never done!

And this last picture is for you Grays.....we too celebrated the last day of school by eating out at Red Robin, milkshakes, and french fries! Some traditions will never end - but it just wasn't the same without you!

And here was one of her best performances of the day...."4 hugs a day, that's the minimum."

and now that the days are warmer, Kate was lucky enough to spend an afternoon in the pool with a friend - and oh how she misses the pool!

We were nice enough to let our daddy have a little R&R later that day since sleeping in just didn't happen that morning! Of course, Max had to join in on the sleep time.
And now we're all enjoying sleepy mornings watching cartoons in bed and pajama days when we can get them! Watch out summer.....here we come!
