3 Baptisms and a Blessing

There's something special about baptisms that I just love...and it's even better when you get to share it with family. I had lots of good pictures, and there were several cameras around this weekend but here are a few of my favorites from 3 baptisms and a blessing.

After begging and pleading with the twins, they agreed that they would wait a month to be baptized so that we could join them in Arizona for a Parker/Gray baptism. The weekend was amazing and the cousins had so much fun just being together and I loved to sit back and soak up what a family means to me. Thanks to all who came and those who sent my siblings to be part of this great weekend! I loved having all 8 of us kids together again!

After the baptism, which thank you to all my family for participating, we spent the afternoon at Desert Mountain park eating, talking, and playing a rousing game of kickball

Grandma and Grandpa were our best cheerleaders!

Haley was the official photographer for the afternoon but I was lucky enough to get one of her.
The next morning, nice and early, was Max's blessing. Eight o'clock church comes early for 50 people to get ready for, but I am impressed with my family as they were ALL there on time for 8 o'clock church...it can be done! You rock! As Jared took Max up to the front to be blessed, I got a little emotional seeing my Grandfather Storer, Dad, brothers, and brother-in-laws stand around him...not a one missing, and think back to when the church was introduced to my Grandpa Storer in England, so many years ago, and how he accepted the missionaries into his home after they answered just one question for him....Why do you baptize babies? Their response was, we don't. Love you Grandpa for being wise enough to ask the question and bring the gospel to this family.

After the early morning church, we went back to the Grays to enjoy a delicious breakfast filled with all sorts of good food, thanks to my sisters and mom, and enjoy the Sabbath morning with family.
I was grateful to have lots of helpers hold Max that weekend, just sad I didn't get a picture of everyone who did. I truly am grateful and my heart was full after seeing everyone for the weekend and realizing how much my family means to me.

Oh, Nate...how I love you and your face!
Proud Grandpa
Grandpa just celebrated his 90th birthday and is still healthy enough and willing to come and travel. It wouldn't have been the same without them there. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for being there!
And thanks to a mom who has taught me well, and continues to teach me all the valuable lessons in life of being a mother.

And thanks to a family who makes it fun to be a part of and I hope you all know how much I love you all!
