This year for Valentine's day, we celebrated with the Gray's after a day of work. When my children woke in the morning, they were surprised to see I had left them little heart-shaped goodie baskets on the counter for them. In fact, Cole thought they were for my young women, but to his surprise he found a basket and book just for him. Then that night we went over to Kim's house and made delicious heart-shaped pizzas - thanks to a tradition my mom started when we were younger - and Kim made delicious pizza dough and topped with whatever the kids liked - cheese, cheese, and more cheese. And she also made delicious chocolate dipped strawberries and individual cheesecakes that were better than the cheesecake factory! We were definitely spoiled this year! Thanks to a great sister and aunt!
The children had so much fun but the evening came to an end where I found one more surprise....Jared was so kind to buy me an R/O system AND had it installed that day. Now we are enjoying great tasting water and the kids prefer water over lemonade. Unfortunately, our photographer was on vacation this Valentine's day, but the day was one to remember.
