All the Single Ladies!

A few weeks ago, it was the annual mens trip to Lake Powell for my family. All eligble men and young men head off to Lake Powell for three days of boating, playing in the water, and no shaving while the ladies in my family try and get together in Las Vegas. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, the Parkers did not attend Las Vegas ladies and instead decided to do a weekend of their own. What more fun could you ask for? I think the pictures say it all!

Jared's IBC Root Beer and pizza - and ranch for the girls...shhh, don't tell Jared....
Kate thoroughly enjoyed the IBC...
After a night of movies and pizza, the next morning we woke up refreshed and ready to go. It started with a little toe nail and nail painting, which, yes, Kate got to paint my nails whatever color she wanted and how she wanted. She thought she was in heaven! She thinks every nail needs to be a different color. Funny thing was, the next morning I went to work and forgot that my nails were multi-colored. My patients got a kick out of that!
Then, after getting all dolled up, it was off to see Charlotte's Web at a local playhouse. We invited a little neighbor girl, Avery, to come and celebrate with us. Lizzie loved the play so much she actually sat for majority of it. The girls just loved seeing the lady spider dance and sing!

Then it was off to Chick-Fil-A for a little more play time and lunch! I couldn't believe how much chicken these girls can eat! And of course, we ended the day with swimming with mommy and mint ice cream sandwiches. Our favorite! Really, what more could girls ask for? As much as we missed our men in our family, it's always good to have a little girl time together! Love you Kate and Lizzie!

Girl Weekends Rock! I'm glad you were able to par-tay even though you couldn't make it to Vegas with us that weekend. I still can't get over how cute Kate's blue swimsuit is. Love your girls..and boys!
