Christmas Craziness

Our holiday season was crazy busy but a fun one!  Here are a few highlights of how it all turned out...First, we started by going on the Polar Express in Williams, AZ with the Grays in their motorhome, Grandma & Grandpa Storer, and Grandma & Grandpa Dunyon.  What a blast!  We enjoyed a visit from Santa on the train as he passed out bells to each child and sang lots of carols, read the Polar Express story and enjoyed hot chocolate and a cookie.  The next morning the kids enjoyed an hour or so of playing in the snow and sledding.  While the kids were all bundled up for the cold, Jared was sporting a short sleeve shirt and sweat across his brow as he pushed the kids down the bunny hill.  What a sight to see!
Then two days later we were spoiled again with a personal visit from Santa at the Gray's house.  The kids were surprised when they each received a special gift from Santa that night. The kids loved sitting on his knee and telling him all about the things they wanted for Christmas.  No shy kids in the Parker clan!   Kim and Jeff were perfect hosts as usual and the food was delicious!  Thanks Grays!

But the fun didn't end there - Sarah, Austin & Duke joined us for our Christmas Eve celebrations and Christmas Day.  We were grateful to have them come and be a big part of our holiday - it wouldn't have been the same without them!  All in all, the kids had a great time and Cole is really starting to get the hang of Christmas.  He even reminded me to put out our special Santa key since we Arizonians don't have chimneys.  One more funny...Kate walks down Christmas morning and says.."My dollhouse!" like she knew it all along that it was going to be there that morning.  Thank goodness for Santa!

I love that we chose the same background for our blogs! I need to send everyone to your site to read about Christmas since I can't seem to get it done myself! Christmas wouldn't be the same without you - you are the greatest sister ever (along with Jen, Jill and Sar!) I love that we are so close to each other and we can share the same memories! Let's do it again next Christmas!
